We produce food and a
more balanced future

Our essence lives in care and respect. At the same time that we extract our sustenance, our products and our profit from the land, we nourish the production chain with responsible practices.

It all starts with the use of appropriate technologies and techniques that are effective in the present and sustainable for the future. No other productive strategy matters to Weisul Agro if it is not fair and positive for future generations. A concern to plant the right that is reflected in the quality of what we harvest.

Soy

Our main crop, soybean, has adapted well to the low altitudes of the region and we know that there is still great potential for expansion. The sale is destined for export due to the proximity of the Port of Itaqui, in the city of São Luiz, in Maranhão state.

Corn

Corn is a strategic crop here at Weisul Agro. Its production, associated with brachiaria, allows the implementation of an off-season for cattle. And its rotation, alternating with soybeans, makes it possible to improve the system as a whole.

Crop-Livestock Integration

Also called ILP (Integração Lavoura-pecuária, in portuguese), it is a strategy that integrates different production systems within the same area to optimize land use, raising productivity levels and diversifying production.

Since 2016, we have developed this management through the corn-brachiaria consortium and also post-soybean pastures, enabling the fattening of the off-season cattle. The current focus is on Nelore animals, which are fully adapted to the region and whose marketing is aimed at the domestic market, adding value to the business.

Sheep

With the grazing system of the Santa Inês breed, we have developed a complete production cycle of breeding, growing and finishing for beef cattle. Our production is destined for the local and regional market, including slaughterhouses, meat houses and restaurants to achieve excellent meat quality.
